About us

SPCO-SL’s prime objective is to build, and staff, a school for the children of Black Johnson Village, in the Western Peninsula of Sierra Leone.

The Start Performing Community Organisation is run by volunteers, without expensive London offices, scores of administration staff, or other overheads that large NGOs claim. Every penny donated goes directly to helping the people of Sierra Leone.

SPCO is a U.K. registered charity, number 1139530.
SPCO-SL is registered as a Sierra Leone NGO, and as a Sierra Leone limited company as required by Sierra Leone law.
